Video Resources for Teachers

Thousands of professionally leveled and culturally relevant books and passages (print and digital) incorporate social-emotional learning competencies, getting students excited about reading. Fiction books are professionally illustrated and nonfiction books incorporate eye-catching photographs to engage young readers in a variety of subjects. Thanks to a partnership with Fountas & Pinnell and Lexile.com, all books are professionally leveled, and new books and text passages are being added each month.

Instructional Tri-Folds for Teachers

Guided Readers provides a variety of instructional tri-folds that serve as teaching guides. These tri-folds provide the process and procedures for conducting specific lessons within reading instruction, and include prompts that are quick and easy to pull out and effectively help with instruction.

Informational Tri-Fold for Parents

Parents are also a vital part of literacy instruction, and Guided Readers provides a printable Parent Guide. These guides give tips on reading with reading with children at home, how to help with their phonics skills, asking key comprehension questions, and more.

Digital Information Guide

Guided Readers subscribers also receive a digital reference guide for immediate and continuous reference on best practices for administering the Guided Readers program.

Facebook Group for Teachers and Administrators

Guided Readers has a dedicated, private Facebook group for teachers who would like to collaborate about all things related to Guided Reading and best teaching practices in literacy instruction. This group was designed as a positive, informal way to share the wealth of information available about teaching and learning literacy.
